Powerlord is hosting this - I think he runs a few servers.... I don't have any specific game servers here - if this becomes popular, I/we may look in doing something long term, but at the moment, this is a one off event... possibly weekly/monthly depending on how many people!

The machine guns both have different effects, but they take different ammo. The shotgun shoots two bullets at once.

The regular machine gun can shoot grenades that explode when they hit the floor.

The original HLDM bunker level only gave you like 30 seconds.

My favorite weapon on that map was the Revolver... and it worked really well, as I think I got the top score on that map. Barely.

There's a console command you can use: timeleft, which states how much time is left on the particular map To use the console commands, just bring down the console by hitting the "~" key (the tilde) and type the command, followed by hitting enter.

We played for what, an hour and a half, and it was pretty good fun. HL2:DM is a horrible game but is easy to pick up. (plus an incredibly small download if you already have certain Source games - I thought I was going to miss it because I didn't already have the game half an hour before we starte...

Oh yeah, since some of you didn't know that weapons had alternate fire modes, did you know that there are health and armor dispensers in some stages that you can press and hold E to use?
