@JohnnyApplesauce try to think back on your history of topics/ classes/ projects/ reading etc you particularly enjoy or engage with. sounds like (on paper) you cant go wrong with A or B...

@JohnnyApplesauce I would suggest you go talk to each of those two professors, tell them you are interested in undergraduate research, and ask if they have any research projects to work on and ask them to tell you about them. Then see if one of those appeals to you more than the other.

I would not expect you to be able to predict which you will like better from just that list, without any experience with research in either of those two areas.

Just knowing their areas of interest doesn't tell you what specific project they'd have you work on.
