@EvilJS Can't help those who don't want to be helped...
@Raphael exactly. That was my point, if OP resigned and deleted comments then wrote "delete my question message" I would gladly comply. I would just delete it and ignore my comments. Value of the question, neglible to problem dump.
@EvilJS They can delete themselves; I refuse to support self-vandalism. We'll close it as unclear since the problem statement is gone, and then it'll be deleted sooner or later.
22:05
@Raphael I understand, ok.
22:42
@EvilJS Is this what you had in mind?
22:57
@Raphael I read your comments, thanks. I am not yet used to different policies on different stackexchange websites, but I do agree that it's important that the person understands things.
There's a Russian math forum math.hashcode.ru/questions that has a lot of people who come in and expect everyone to do their homework, the questions are literally straight up texts saying "you're given this, you need to do this" copied verbatim from the problem statements, there's no "thanks", or "I tried this and got stuck doing this".
@paulpaul1076 Yea, that's common on some sites. We don't think that's good use of anybody's time, so we try to keep the noise down. You can find past discussions on that here.
Welcome and thanks for trying to help, by the way!
@Raphael why did you suggest that I add an answer to that question, even if it's a hint? Just for statistics, that cs.SE has this certain percentange of answers? I noticed that some people just leave a comment if the answer is short.
23:14
@paulpaul1076 The hint is most of the idea, so you might as well post an answer after a few days (my preference) with a specific explanation stub for the construction. (Personally, I think if the OP can't do it with your, they are too far behind for us to help them -- this term.)

@Raphael this was initial idea, then I thought about ranges, relaxed tree. Repining branch with lazy update (to avoid traversing all nodes) so adding constant to branch and mark - to be updated ;)
