@Aarthi Hello! I am back!
@AntonyVennard HOORAY
@Aarthi I knew you'd be lurking in here.
@AntonyVennard actually I wasn't, buuuuut I heard your ping from chatrooms away :P
How's life, NF?
@Aarthi Oh y'know. too many assignments to do. Work is busy. I've learnt more about UEFI bootloaders than I care to. Not enough time to do fun things. Being an adult sucks. All the usual!
@AntonyVennard I was just thinking this last night: adulthood is the worst in some ways.
17:59
@Aarthi I dunno. I quite like it. Except for the whole need to earn money part.
@AntonyVennard and paying bills and taxes part
@Aarthi Actually, that's mostly the issue. If it wasn't for that I'd be rich.
Well, richer.
@AntonyVennard so would I, man. so would I
:O jealous
Also, four day working weeks should be the legal limit.
Oh and I'm writing a password manager. So far it works on Windows/Linux and is pretty... ok it doesn't work, but it sort of skeletally works unless you try to actually do something.
This is because my head can no longer hold all the passwords I have to know, and I don't trust web based pw managers as far as I could ping them.
hahahaha @AntonyVennard what about LastPass?
18:05
@Aarthi It's an online password manager!
I'm listening to an enthusiastic american telling me all about it in a video.
@AntonyVennard really? huh I always thought it was a native client
@Aarthi Yeah, the client is, but the data is stored in the cloud.
@AntonyVennard ahh. shame.
I specifically want to be able to not do that.
At the cost of not having browser addons.
Now, I could just use KeePass, but where's the fun in that?
Pssh. Code it yourself.
18:08
@Aarthi Exactly.
@AntonyVennard :D
@Aarthi Real programmers don't use other people's apps. Except maybe vim/emacs and a compiler.
2
@AntonyVennard hahahahaha
so i've learned
18:24
@Aarthi Yep, good good!
@AntonyVennard :D well I hate to abandon you
but I have all these tabs that need responses. <3 ping me again sometime, I'd love to catch up, I just can't right now :(
@Aarthi Okay.
I suppose.
@AntonyVennard <3 see you later!
