Well the See-no-evil metaphor I posted earlier literally implies that every step of the way they lose a part of their humanity
They replace their eyes, then their bodies
That machine I assume was different from the normal process they use because it does it all at once
And I assume there also has to be some kind of brainwashing in that machine
Because Strategos Six states that they'll come out as an Elite Follower (Not the exact words)
