I read the wikipedia article on how this voting system is supposed to work but I'm not sure what it does to my votes if I only cast one or two instead of all three.
So, lets say 100 people voted. If I vote only for A but the outcome of the first preference is A 20, B 40 and C 40, then A will be eliminated but since I didn't vote for B or C, will the next round continue with 99 votes instead of 100 or what will happen?
@Sumyrda for a full ballot, should all three of the choices be eliminated the ballot is done & the count continues with those that are left. If you don't use all your slots your ballot drops out earlier but nothing else changes. (In this election no full ballots can drop out, but in bigger ones...)
