@JeffSchaller oh yes indeed. It did seem like a valid and pretty much well defined question, with a clear and reasonable answer. Bit of a shame to see it deleted like that.

(It did cross my mind to just rephrase it as a new question, but I think that might just irk more than one person who contributed to that post. Not that anyone there bothered to actually write that answer instead of those comments, hmh.)
