@FaheemMitha I can read almost all latin tongues and English.
Speaking them is another matter.
Can start speaking French if hearing it everyday...I just have not used it for long.
@Fabby Speaking of investigating and debugg things....

Q: X.509 certificate giving error in Chrome, works in Firefox

Rui F RibeiroI just renewed a Multicert X.509 certificate in a site/vhost in a RedHat 6.2 VM. Let's call it https://www.multicert.pt My client machine is running Debian 9. What surprised me is that the certificate is giving an approved/green in Firefox Quantum 60.2.0esr (64 bit) and in Safari too, however Ch...

A: Chrome Linux is not showing an X.509 Extension, SCT

Rui F RibeiroFinally found out why I was not able to see it. Google has not been willing to implement the feature in the Linux version of Chrome. Apparently and interestingly, the menus are appear to be specific code, and not common to all architectures. So that explains why Google Chrome current, beta an...

bah
As anyone some trick to print a WHOLE web page?
web browsers cut it out to the visiible part....does not make sense.

1 hour later…
12:21 PM
@RuiFRibeiro I'm not sure what you are asking. And what does "cut it out to the visiible part" mean?

12:39 PM
@FaheemMitha Being idiot, forget about it. It is Redis Commander and not Safari/Firefox/Chrome doing the scrolling, hence the browser not printing it whole.

3 hours later…
4:06 PM
@RuiFRibeiro Upgoated both.

4:23 PM
@Fabby Thanks, I guess. meeeh ;|)

Confused now...

@Fabby up goat :)

I mean: that's the only thing I can do: You've solved the puzzles already, one question had a downvote but the answer had 3 upvotes, so I thought a little correction was in order.

You made a typo, I was pulling your leg.

upvote or up-vote AFAIK
not up vote, because that would have to be vote up...

4:26 PM
Nah, you wrote Goat
nvmind. ;)
@Fabby Only joking.

Yeah, sorry: that's a funny Ask Ubuntu way of saying upvote as we used to have a user that had a goat in this avatar stat started that meme.

That messed up thing of not having the SCT in Google Chrome cost me a whole work day of investigation.

I should stop using that outside of the AU room. Confuses the hell out of a lot of people.
@RuiFRibeiro Yeah! I can imagine!!!

@Fabby Then people start questioning me why certs before 1-May worked
@Fabby and I got chromium sources and started emailing them the offending routines.
LOL
It is not the first Chrome buried bug I find that Google does not care about.

@RuiFRibeiro Now I'm pretty sure you're an AI and not a human...
Do you ever sleep???
;-) :-)

4:32 PM
@Fabby LOL....I do. Far less in summer time.
@Fabby Actually the guys have a dev background....hence I starting emailing them snippets of code. I just took them from the emails and pasted them in my post.
@Fabby Et je parle un peu de français aussi....haha lying. I can read it, but have not used it for ages, and when you do not use it....

@RuiFRibeiro I saw that earlier... :p
(I try to catch up on stuff in the chat if <50 lines)

@Fabby I also read it diagonally once in a while.
@Fabby Back in my Mac btw. What I actually miss more is the screen resolution...2x or 3x the Lenovo.

systemd is a nightmare....

A: Debian server, auto-mount samba share

Rui F RibeiroYour hiting a known systemd "feature"; on top of it, the system might be trying to mount it before networking is operational. Modify it to to add to the fstab mounting options ,noauto,x-systemd.automount,_netdev //192.168.1.1/FRITZ.NAS/WD-1600BEVExternal-01/share /srv/nas cifs credentials=...
