@terdon Sorry for the delay. I can only speak for the bash 4.4.12 port on OpenBSD. It does not use those files and does not refer to them in the manual. The only file under /etc that is used is /etc/profile. This file is read if the shell is invoked as a login shell (interactive or non-interactive with --login).

@Kusalananda I'll be damned! Neither does mine, actually. Turns out /etc/bash.bashrc is sourced by /etc/profile. I've seen it on every Linux machine I remember using, so I had always thought that was a default bash thing, not OS-dependent.

I just got this answer on Health - health.stackexchange.com/a/14578/52
While I know this isn't Health chat, would:
> If you have any other queries regarding health related issues feel free to contact us at WhatsApp number 9530069900.
make this flag worthy?
Oh, and:

@terdon I thought /etc/bash.bashrc was a Debian thing.
That answer also doesn't quite actual references.
And the poster joined today. And included a bunch of irrelevant stuff.

@FaheemMitha in my eyes this comes close to being spam, or does the poster reveal his affiliation?

8:47 AM
@Videonauth As far as I can see, he doesn't reveal anything.

@FaheemMitha Arch too
At least

@terdon Oh, ok.

@FaheemMitha Yes, the whole thing is plagiarized. Google one of the paragraphs.

@terdon I've flagged it as spam. Is that ok?

That'll do. I flagged as plagiarized. One or the other will get looked at, eventually.

@FaheemMitha There can be even weird cases of diabetes 2 btw. I for example, my pancreas is still producing full amount of insulin but it isnt able to dock at the beta cells so i have sometimes blood sugar levels which are far and beyond

@terdon For obvious reasons, /etc/profile on OpenBSD does not read /etc/bash.bashrc or /etc/bash_profile.

@terdon I did a search for one of the sentences. I didn't see any obvious hits. What's the source? And how do I flag as plagisrized? Does this fall under "other"?
@Videonauth Sorry to hear that. Are you taking medication for it?

@FaheemMitha yeah i daily overdose on insulin to keep the levels in check, plus pills (Januvia)
20 units of long term insulin per day and 100 mg Januvia
and i normaly vary between 160 and 350 through the day

@Videonauth :What are the units?
Oh, and are you satisfied with the treatment your receive? I've heard mixed things about the German health system.

@FaheemMitha google.gr/…

9:03 AM
@terdon Yes, I see. Though he/she seems to have done a selective cut-and-paste job.

@FaheemMitha well the measurement they use on that injection pen

@Videonauth oh. I've seen one of those too. My sister was getting shots from those for awhile.

when i understood my doc right one unit contains 100mg abasaglar so 20 units are about 2000mg, but dont nail me down on it

I forgot the units, though.

Folks, I was wondering if there was an consensus about what was the best ad blocker. I'm currently using Firefox, but the question is general. And I suppose that there are no ad blockers specifically for Firefox, anyway.
