I have not been keeping track of what's going on in the poweruser community. I've always liked GravityBox (and I don't really like the way Google went ahead with notification drawer changes. Gravitybox proved helpful to some extent on Android 11). I guess I'd have to search and dig into XDA forums first before buying a new phone in order to gauge what I would be losing after upgrading to a newer Android . :-(

BTW, what opinions or hard drawbacks of iPhone led you to not switch to it?

@Firelord Yes, you do need to to do due diligence, given that any new phone will be with A14. I don't want to put in a learning curve with iPhone and get even more locked in. Android is still a familiar system and hacks like those I mentioned are impossible on iPhone, where I understand sideloading itself is not permitted. Most importantly I sync a lot of cloud stuff and not sure how easy it is in that eco-system. I need folder sync

I am too lazy to even experiment with One UI and other skins...iPhone is a Galaxy apart..It's resistance to try them out frankly

@Firelord Gravity box..Xposed Edge Pro are RIP though Xposed Edge I recall works somewhat in A13

Xposed edge works on 14 also on some devices. I recall you saying you were very fond of it

@beeshyams I still use it for a gesture. :)

Q: Can an APK be installed from a URI via `adb`?

RokeJulianLockhartQuestion As an example, I've tried the undermentioned: adb -s "$DeviceName" install -t 'https://github.com/HomeZz/Current-Activity/releases/download/v1.5.9/app-debug-v1.5.9.apk' However, this fails: Performing Streamed Install adb: failed to stat https://github.com/HomeZz/Current-Activity/rele...
