Hi all, i'm a native iOS developer who is porting som stuff to Android, but am amazed at how slow the development setup is with Eclipse (Kelper) and the AVD on OSX. Does anyone have some tips on alternative setups, IDEs, etc?

@PeterBoné Android Studio is better, but in development... (though fairly stable).

@Shywim aaah, awesome! I was looking at IntelliJ IDEA instead of Eclipse, and also tried the Eclipse version bundled with ADK som months ago. But i can see that Android Studio is also based on IntelliJs IDEA. I'm gonna try that right away :) thanks

@PeterBoné You'd be better off asking on StackOverflow perhaps but I think you should test on a real device, not use AVD, it is slow.

Just the setting up of Eclipse with Android is easy, I think they actually have their own bundled version on the developer website now.

Oops sorry just read your second bit, see you've seen the bundled version.

Q: Samsung GT-S5830M keeps restarting even after factory reset

I downloaded a game from Google Play some sort of Pac Man game. It alerted me that it was a large file game and recommended to download with wifi, which I did. After it installed I tried the game but the screen stuck on a grey screen so I closed it off and tried again, still wouldnt load. I tried...
