Like it was mentioned earlier, and in a question I need to find. There might be a real use for canonical answer to specific "easy" or "frequent" new-comers questions.
@M'vy Upvotes are not necessarily a measure of quality and adequation to the site. In fact that's the point of moderators: to be able to do things that are not properly handled with the vote/accept system.
Well, I know right. I was expressing an opinion here :)
The same goes with the questions that should be closed, but gets downvotes instead. (Well, some deserves the close vote and the close vote, but sometimes not)
Sometimes it makes a double penalty that can be difficult for newcomers to handle.
