the situation being dominated by a person who keeps asking you to serve his needs is indignant and annoying.
when you refuse his request more than once, he still demands you and even does that in a coercive manner.
his demands are either obscene or frivolous
there is really no rationalization to waste time in that kind of man.
I have so many labor needs without people to serve.
why not let that kind of man to serve these labors?

Q: Masters focused in category theory (in Europe)

DorianI'm getting a bachelor degree in Mathematics this summer, and I must choose a master. I'm interested in algebra, mainly in the more abstract/structural aspects of it; to give an idea, I like category theory, Galois correspondences and homological algebra, I don't like numerical subjects for examp...

Hi there - I've been working on implementing ACS style Patent citations using BibTeX/LaTeX, and I've come up against some question about implementation that I'd like y'all to take a look at, if you can. Most important among these questions is what date is implied by the ACS style guide? Application or publication? The style guide itself is ambiguous on the matter.
If you have any thoughts on this, you can take a look at the question over on codereview.sx

Q: Custom BibTeX Style File to Implement Patents in the ACS Style

Taylor ScottIntro I've been working to implement a modified version of the achemso.bst file from the American Chemical Society'sachemso package that properly implements patents as defined by the ACS Style Guide. This is the first time that I've worked in a meaningful way with BibTeX Style files and while I a...

Oh and if you can think of a better place for me to ask people to take a look at this, please let me know :)
thanks

@TaylorScott Why not try Tex SE? Actually, the answer you received is from one user of Tex SE. As I recall, there are also some high-rep users who are in chemistry, and they are maybe familiar with the style guide.

@MassimoOrtolano - I actually aleady gave Tex.SX and Chemistry.SX chats a shout and asked them to take a look. Both David Carlisle and Marcel Kruger from the TeX chat have been exceedingly helpful, but they haven't said anything regarding the syntax of the citations themselves thusfar

Q: Is it alright to invite a professor to cowrite a paper

Zachary HunterI managed to improve the techniques of a year-old paper to get a significantly stronger result. I used original ideas, but a large part relies upon results of the original paper. (to the point that half the paper may be recapping the lemmas of the past paper) Q1) Is it acceptable to ask the auth...
