@user1938107 I think it is more funder specific then field specific. Lots of funders do not allow you to buy laptops and desktops since they feel that this is part of the overhead/space charges.
@StrongBad thanks, any idea on something that would be considered 'overhead/space' that I would find in one field and not another, or are computers basically the main thing and it spans all fields
@user1938107 I think something along the lines of "what am I not allowed to buy (cost into) a grant" would be a reasonable question for the main board, if it hasn't already been asked.
