Hello, everyone. I am an undergraduate student in computer engineering and plan on pursing further study in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Is it common in the UK, Ireland, Portugal or North America to get admitted into a PhD program straight from undergrad? Should one pursue a master's degree before a PhD? Which scenario is more common? Thanks in advance.
