Much better, have been dealing with something awful the whole year ... Anyways, have been wanting to ask you something ...

Do you remember I asked questions about how I should add my ELL contributions to my resume ... What I did was in my summary section I added it as written communication skills.

Now, I have a section called "Professional Development and Certificates" where I additional training and courses I took to enhance my research skills ...

Wondering if talking about my ELL contributions there would make sense ...

but I think it would make more sense for someone who is directly working for SE? like a site moderator or community moderator?

ELL is more volunteer work in my opinion. An affiliation might be serving on a board or some more formal relationship

I think it has a place on your resume but maybe not in that section

I have that one with my university club experiences - which were all voluntary

Workplace is a pretty good community, but sometimes the topics are a drag on my good mood

We're doing well. It looks like we're going to gave to euthanize ate oldest dog this week.

She's been partially paralyzed since she was 3 years old and she's got arthritis in one ankle now and hip dysplasia

She's having trouble getting around and we think she's hurting although she doesn't show it

It's probably better to not wait too much longer

Ah that's painful ...

and sad at the same time ...

We're traveling to visit family over Thanksgiving and we don't want to board the younger dog alone without some time for him to adjust to the older dog being gone

Well, we gad a dog that had cancer and we waited too long. That is much worse. The guilt for that will stick with me forever

Never heard of that to be honest ...

but hope this time it's smoother

I don't think you should let that stop you. The only real considerations are whether you know how the community works and you can commit to visiting the site regularly
