In Russia, a commercial firm has tested some 200 thousand people, non-randomly, because they came for testing themselves, paying money. But 15% of them turned out to have antibodies to COVID.
Quite a large percentage, althought the sample might not reflect the population.
Because, for instance, many old persons cannot afford to just throw away 1500 rubles on a test.

Q: what means "undimmed by time, unbound by death"?

GhostSo the full line is If we have souls, They are made of love we share Undimmed by time, unbound by death I didn't quite understand what the write meant by undimmed by time.Is it means that the souls will get brighter as the time passes? or something else. Souls are connected. Is unbound means...

> Undimmed by time means not dimmed (diminished) by the passage of time. Unbound by death means not bound (restrained or limited) by death (when a person dies) – Bruce Murray 7 hours ago
I don't know if the "unbound" analysis is correct ...
I think what it means is "the soul is released when the person dies"
"unbound" here is the verb and not the adjective
"the soul is not limited by death" does not make sense to me ...
the other meaning of "unbind" is "release" which makes more sense

@AIQ Well I have the same reading as that comment. The lines at issue talk about souls in a general way, not a point in time when the souls are released. That is just my opinion
Also "unbound" conjures up freedom, being unfettered. That is the default meaning of the word, especially in poetry
Shelley had a poem called Prometheus Unbound
Prometheus Unbound is a four-act lyrical drama by Percy Bysshe Shelley, first published in 1820. It is concerned with the torments of the Greek mythological figure Prometheus, who defies the gods and gives fire to humanity, for which he is subjected to eternal punishment and suffering at the hands of Zeus. It is inspired by the classical Prometheia, a trilogy of plays attributed to Aeschylus. Shelley's play concerns Prometheus' release from captivity, but unlike Aeschylus' version, there is no reconciliation between Prometheus and Jupiter (Zeus). Instead, Jupiter is abandoned by his supportive...
A poetic play, actually
I only read parts of it years ago

ummm but "unrestricted by death" does not make sense
How about "unaffected"?
AIQ
AIQ
yeah "unaffected by death" makes sense ... but that is not in the definition of unbound
Death is a sort of limit, upper bound in a temporal sense

AIQ
are you saying "unrestricted (or not limited) by death" means "the existence of the soul is not limited or restricted by death"?
yeah more or less
It's poetry

I see ... that is a long interpretation of just 3 words ... I thought (based on one of the definitions) "unbound by death" meant "freed/released after death" ...
Okay thanks Eddie Kal
