Is there a way I can search for a phrase (like we do in google Ngram) in a few select newspapers? I want to only get results from say The Guardian, NY Times, Globe and Mail, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, etc.
Simply searching in google news provides results from other news sources. And I only want to see results from the ones I want.

@AIQ For specific website searches type **site:[website] [search phrase]

site:stackexchange.com yadda yadda yadda
First was too specific. the SE search is a good example
site:jigsawplanet.com kittens
because I love jigsaw puzzles and umm kittens..
time for more coffee..

Google is a good way to search for an SE post.
Anyway, a good trick is excluding results with certain phrases or that come from certain sources. Just write -"indiatimes.com" or whatever.
I use quotes by default but maybe in the above case I didn't need them. But if there are multiple words you do need them.

Guten Nacht
@CowperKettle It's actually Guten Tag and Guten Abend but Gute Nacht for some reason

@userr2684291 that too..

Доброе утро.
18:34
@M.A.R. Nacht's a feminine noun, while Abend and Tag are masculine. The non-ellipted form is Ich wuensche dir einen guten Tag, so we're talking about an accusative.

@userr2684291 Aha. Apparently I am yet unworthy of being privy to such knowledge

Q: Why is 'Guten Tag' accusative?

StrixVariaIs it just an idiom, or is it a general rule? I'm wishing a good day to someone, so I guess there is some kind of metaphorical motion involved. Would it be similar if I wanted to say "vielen Spaß"?

Word of the day: nosocomial infection (from Greek nosokomos ‘person who tends the sick’ + -ial.)
