@CowperKettle I would use "the" there. The infection causes a breakdown of the upper layers of the skin ...
@CowperKettle hmmm ... maybe "may take longer" would be better than "a longer time". Or "it may take a long time" ...
12:40
@CowperKettle Without more context, I would say "package". Printed information included with prescription drugs is sometimes referred to as "package inserts".
@CowperKettle I agree you need "the" there. It would be too informal I think to write "The infection causes red, itchy, peeling skin"
@snailcar for some reason I think it should be related to Mario
@CowperKettle I think "recovery may take longer" would be the best choice, since it's obvious "longer" refers to an amount of time from the context
It had to be Greek.

@snailcar - were you taught in school that which should be used only in non-restrictive clauses? And do you as an American feel which to be out of place in restrictive clauses?
I feel like I used to know this part of grammar and have forgotten.
@M.A.R. In Russia, the growth of new COVID cases has stopped in the last 3 days. I hope this is not some data error, and the curve will start declining slowly.
