@AIQ Hi AIQ, I think if you said that, both the apple and the orange would have to be big. If you don't care about the size of the orange, then the easiest solution is to change the order of the fruit:
- I want an orange and a big apple.
@CowperKettle That doesn't quite work in British RP, 'cuz the last syllable of Taiwan and the words fun/pun don't rhyme! (which maybe makes the limerick more enjoyable, though)

@Araucaria Hello there, I do want to say that both the fruits that I want should be big. I wanted to know if using one adjective does the job or do I need two "big".
@AIQ The best way to do that is to not use a/n with the second fruit:
@AIQ Or to use your sentence ...
So either: "I want a big apple and a big orange" or "I want a big apple and orange"
Maybe your sentence is clearer.

@AIQ By applying the New York City = Big Apple and Los Angeles = Big Orange substitutions you'll be able to avoid this problem entirely.
@M.A.R. Hey. You're an egg again.
Hm, that actually took an unexpectedly philosophical turn.
Lol, you misspelled raccoon in your little pop-up profile thing.
(I just hope I've caused a momentary pang of panic (MPOP).)
@M.A.R. Bigly.

@userr2684291 A broken egg. Big difference
@userr2684291 Sorry, if it was, it was gonna be a deliberate artistic choice

@Araucaria Interesting! I had doubts about Taiwan, but why don't "fun" and "pun" rhyme?
Ah, I see. Fun and pun do rhyme.
But why doesn't Taiwan rhyme? Because the stress falls on the first syllable?
@M.A.R. How are things in Iran?
> There was a young man of Iran
Who had a refined sense of fun

"Whatever you do, always give 100%. Unless you're donating blood"

@CowperKettle Ha ha!

@CowperKettle Well, a whole lot of Iranian sites got censored and my speculation is one of the higher ups' son had a related app to charge people with.
At least I've heard often that it's the case with censoring Telegram.
Pure speculation though. A vague shot in the darkness, mostly out of frustration.
So I guess, everything is normal

@M.A.R. A cracked egg.
Haha.

@CowperKettle No, it's because fun/pun have a STRUT vowel, but Taiwan has a BATH vowel :)
