One of my questions is rightfully voted to be closed today. The way I wrote is very confusing. Usually my questions are clear. But with this one today, I was very much confused to even clearly state what I wanted. As such, the question got downvoted, and the answers too got downvoted. I want to delete the question and re-post in a better way. Can one of the moderators help me out?

@ColleenV I defer to your judgement. They've also apparently asked the same question all over the Internet. Anyway, I don't answer very often, and this sort of thing is one reason why. But it's true that I'm not willing to search for potential duplicates, or participate in the community in advocating for policy or tradition changes. I hear your explanations and now I get it better.
@AIQ Is there so response to your question that revising it, even totally changing it, makes a mess? If so, you can delete the question yourself. Leave a comment on the question, explaining why. It will eventually get deleted. You should ask a new one. If you're not yet clear on how you want to ask, maybe someone in here can help you write it.
@AIQ I meant: Is there so much response to your question ....

@AIQ If people have taken the time to answer your question, it's not really fair to delete everything. It would be better to try to fix it up and let the people who answered know that you've clarified your question so they can fix up their answers. That said if everything about the question isn't being well-received by the community and you don't think it's salvageable, we can take a look.
If you're just going to repost the same question, but better, you should revise the existing question.

Q: each suppose to refer to a singular subject, isn't it?

CostaUsually "each" is used to refer to every member in the group, so it is followed by a singular verb like: Each student and teacher knows that exams are..... Each of the buildings is surrounded by high metal fencing. Now I am not sure how the first sentence in the following examples is ...
