How to ask a question based on a practice question you are struggling with
Occasionally someone will be trying to figure out an answer to a practice question, and will stumble across the Stack Exchange and think, “This is great! Surely I can get an answer here.”
Here are some do’s and don’t’s ...
I think elaborating on how to be concise and what to look for before asking a question, especially, deserve a place on their own
The standard FAQ is exactly lacking in that regard: It tells you to do your own homework, but it never tells you good enough how, why or how much.
Could just edit J.R.'s answer but I also think a dedicated post for asking textbook problems would be pretty useful.
Number two would be sorting the guide a little bit. Make a list of contents either in the question (preferred, just some editing and headlining the current one) or another answer.
