frbsfokI am not sure where I got the idea that a comma must be added before "so that", but I have been doing this for a while now, and now I realized it might be ungrammatical, or is it? When would you add a comma? For example: You should do several of the things that he asked you to do so that he ...

Q: Are there good Q&A sites other than Stack Exchange for English?

Kentaro TomonoThis question might seem to be rather offensive to this site, so kindly pardon me. Since I sometimes have English related questions which are prohibited to ask here, so could someone teach me if there is or not, and if there is, what are them? I have seen one site and I used it, but since I cha...

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ I hadn't been procrastinating that day, but the few days before that.
Those few days I was supposta study for the exam today, heh.
I'll get above 66% I think. Now I have 13 hrs and 45 mins for the one tomorrow.
Another 35 pages, I believe.
11:50
@userr2684291 It takes real willpower to procrastinate the day before the exam.
@CowperKettle "are widely quoted" or "have given rise to common expressions", with different in nuance.

@SamBC Do you think the verses of his songs often spread wings of their own could work?
Fly away in quotations = spread their wings as quotations.
I'm convinced I'm the next Baudelaire.
13:14
@userr2684291 Oh, it works. It's not a familiar phrase, but it follows the pattern of common metaphor and idiom enough that people would get the gist - but you'd have to say more for them to understand precisely what you meant.
@SamBC Yep.
I've answered the question now. I don't expect the question to draw too much attention, however.
Alright, gotta study. Those ~14 hours have shrunk to 12, unlike the pages of my study guide.
@Araucaria oh Stay thank you so much. How is your life going?
