I realized I can study for 20 hours straight with regular breaks (mainly to make tea...). This is going great so far. I know I should go to bed when it starts ringing in my ears.

I wonder how much I'm gonna recall tomorrow.
I mean, yesterday it was fine. I expected around 80% recall anyway, but after review it feels solid.

Word of the day: guevedoces
> Johnny lives in a small town in the Dominican Republic where he, and others like him, are known as "Guevedoces", which effectively translates as "penis at twelve".

I had close to perfect recall during the exam after a morning review. Good stuff. Now it's time to forget it all.

Overlearning like that is a great way to study for a test, especially if remembering them afterwards isn’t a priority.

Tests are dumb.

Oh, wow. I just realized de-capitalized (damn) the I at the beginning of my starred(!) reply.
I think you're seeing things.
Haha, thank you.
(I also omitted the I before de-capitalized, lol.)
@Jasper I hope you get your answer soon.
I searched the transcripts of SE chat rooms for the name of the dictionary you're interested in, and it looks like snail plane (yes, it was a spacious plane then) mentioned something here which you might find of interest.

@snailboat Depends on the test and how much time the teacher is willing to spend conducting it and grading you. Traditional tests graded against an answer key are dumb, but I have had professors give one question tests that took hours to complete and probably a long time to grade.

@userr2684291 20 hours is a long time!

> Word of the day: anogenital distance (AGD), a marker of feminization/virilization. "Babies with high total exposure to phthalates were ninety times more likely to have a short AGD" (Wikipedia). Phthalates permeate the modern world, they are in the majority of plastic products.

What's this with "industrial chops"? Votes keep piling up, defying all auxology.
@CowperKettle congratulations on your HNQ ;) You’ve given an answer that not many feel they can improve upon, so they just up-vote
@ColleenV bows down
Maybe just takes a bow... “to bow down” is to recognize someone else’s superiority.

@CowperKettle Hey there is a new feature to show if a question is on the HNQ
18
Q: Now you can know if a question really hit the HNQ

ymb1I noticed this new addition. It is now stated in the revision history if a question has made it to the Hot Network Questions, example:

ell.stackexchange.com/posts/198476/revisions the "Industry Chops" question hit it 7 hours ago...
