I know it may not seem helpful to ask this question, but if you yourself don't understand what those terms mean (you're unable to recognize which is which), what use is this to you? How may this piece of terminology help you? Unfortunately I don't see how your question is useful to someone learning English (which isn't the same as someone formally studying English). I suggest you focus on reading more, etc., rather than racking your brains with, in my view, useless classification.

If you understood what those terms meant and you were able to make the distinction, how would this help you learn English?
The above happens when you stop writing in the middle of the sentence and then come back to it, without remembering exactly what it said.
Anyway, if you want to understand the "rules" of English syntax, I suggest you pick up a copy of an actual grammar such as The Cambridge Grammar (2002).
