Not relevant is something else entirely. What's with SE's prioritizing design over clarity, accessibility and user-friendliness? Geesh, so greedy.

That wording discouraged you from using the flag, even though it was the right flag for that sort of thing. And those comments outnumbered the actually obsolete ones.

Now not relevant is supposed to mean something like "This comment doesn't suggest an improvement on the post, or it suggests an improvement which has already been made".

But you can't really condense that down into those two words.

Lots of unnecessary, chatty comments are actually relevant to the post in some way.

But if you read between the lines a little and don't focus too much on what the words seem to literally mean, you can keep using the site as usual.
