Hello everyone,
I missed you guys.
word of the night: Bungle
My first vote @NathanTuggy
I thought you would be a nominee @M.A.R

@Cardinal Much appreciated!

@NathanTuggy You are always welcome 0:-)

But yeah, I would have voted for @M.A.R again.

I haven't seen MAR in a bit... I hope things are going OK.

@NathanTuggy I kind of feel bad because I didn't show up for while here. And I have no idea how he things going on for him. Wish things are fine.

3:16 AM
Yeah, me too

@CowperKettle How was the worldcup for you? Did you host any matches in your province?

@Cardinal I did not watch it.
Yes, there were matches in Yekaterinburg. A lot of foreigners in the streets.
The city built a new stadium at a cost of 13 billion rubles, and will now pay 1 million rubles each day for upkeep.
Which is beyond horrible. So many practice grounds could have been built at this cost.
The stadium will stand empty.
Has a capacity for 25 000 persons, but in Yekaterinburg no match has ever gathered more than 8 000.
It's a disaster.
The whole exercise was used by Putin to clutch to legitimacy despite his crimes.
It's horrible that the world did not boycott it.

@CowperKettle Beyond horruble.

9:25 AM
@userr2684291 It amuses you?
Be amused.

Come on, I saw a pun in all that misery. (: I was also for boycotting the championship and I initially thought that was gonna happen.
I'm now wondering how I managed to get past the first couple hundred pages of Infinite Jest. Did I just... absent-mindedly leaf through the book? Now it seems all the sentences therein are abuzz with information and demand my undivided attention.
I need to keep a reading diary to keep up with all these things. It sounds like that one time I attempted to read War and Peace over an extended weekend.

Goooooo Nathan!
@CowperKettle The world needed to know about it first
Haha @userr been there
Although now that you've cooled down you should remove the expletives.

Yay! @M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ You're back. :D

@Catija Hullo!
6th donor didn't work out (we should have known better)
The university entrance exam was awesome
I'm gonna buy some internet for home and I'll hopefully be present most of the time again

Awww, sorry. :( Glad the entrance exam went well! I'm glad you'll be around more.

@userr2684291 I'm too emotional. My cortisol is at 140% and I feel that my brain is not working right.
"Emotional lability"
There was a period of about a week of normal cortisol, and now it's back to 140%. I did two tests on different days. It's going higher and lower.
@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ Congratulations!
I'm sure that you will find a good donor.

4:09 PM
@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ No, I'm leaving all the wowies. I need that stuff in my life. I wanna cringe when I look at it later. So far I think I'm right, so I'm still fresh off the grill.
I know you were referring to heck probably, but... that's just my way of expressing annoyance. That stuff should remain.
Also, heck is a mere euphemism, so I think I'm safe.

Q: How should we review format edits?

L. MonetaI am feeling increasingly iffy about where the line should be drawn with regard to certain edits on formatting. For example, this edit struck me as sensible because the editor @Maryam highlighted the words in question for the OP and italicized book titles, which I thought would help the readabil...

Q: Difference between the past simple tense and the past perfect tense

user62015I hope, I understand what is difference between the past simple tense and the past perfect tense. As per my knowledge we use the past perfect tense to show the much old action in the past when two actions happened at the same time in the past. Let me tell you with the example: I went to ...
