Absent any further context, C. seems the best of a bad lot; me, I'd incline toward "exhorted" or "urged".

What's a regular-looking word that means "interested in sex too much"? It's one word, adjective, it's not hypersexual or anything medical/technical, and it's not overly sexual/sexualized, but it's something like that. It contains the word sex in it. In the article I read it in (a year ago maybe, but I looked it up later and it's not something they coined, it's a real word) it had a hyphen somewhere in it. I know it's silly, but it bugs me when I can't find the word I'm thinking of.

Never mind, I found it.
