@TheNumberOne I'm not sure you can do better than this. Any redstone will connect when you put two modules side by side, messing things up.

Here is a stackable design that uses more of everything but iron and quartz:

pros: activates only one piston at a time, will not get stuck if the tripwire is triggered for only one tick, takes less iron and quartz
cons: slower response time, takes more redstone and stone
Also takes less wood to make.
