Are the solutions hidden

@feersum That's a planned feature that can be enabled by users as well as on a per-challenge basis

Axtell looks amazing!

@Zacharý Thanks!

Also, it's a good way to have fresh challenges: as older challenges can be redone, but with newer languages to spice things up (speaking of that ... I really should work on RAD some more before the school year starts)

We allow newer languages on existing challenges on PPCG already, though. We also semi-recently decided that they didn't even have to be non-competing.

1:33 AM
I meant to say that old challenges could have attention brought to them.

2:31 AM
We're less competative across languages now, so writing your own language to 0 byte a challenge just comes off as boring.

2:56 AM
Tbh it doesn't even feel like a competition, just a fun exercise
Commenting your improvements to someone's golf is way more common than submitting a competing one.

True, it doesn't feel right to steal someone's hard work with one's minor improvements.

I really like my current profile picture. However, there is this.
Ok since I hear no dissenting opinions I have now changed it. Please do not feel obligated to thank me.

Pro Tip: the values of constants are constant so you can't change them

Counter pro tip: never change values.

Q: How do I properly fix up the layout in terms of where the pictures and the text stands on the website?

JackI recently did some coding for a school project and needed some help with the layout. Here are my questions: What do I do on my css to change how the text "NRL 15/07/18 looks? How do I move the text saying "World Cup" next to the second picture? ( I need to save a little space so I can put Soc...

@Mego fixed

@ATaco Depending on how many "minor improvements" there are. If there are ~20 of them and they save about 150 bytes ... it's a bit on the fence then.

@Zacharý We should probably blame SE for having "sort by newest"...?

2:59 PM
I borked RAD, great ... 1 + 2 gives an error now.

3:09 PM
@Zacharý meanwhile, for the past 14 hours I've been trying to make my own apl clone and it's going great

@dzaima RAD isn't really an APL clone, more like a lovechild of APL, K, and Jelly. That was sarcasm, right?
For some reason, just even adding in either | or ~'s implementation breaks the entire thing.

@Zacharý you know, I don't quite know. It seems to work (rather well actually) but it really feels like it shouldn't

That's the entirety of the RAD rewrite. It feels easier than Python once the base code was finished, but now THIS happens.
@dzaima What's it written in?

@Zacharý Processing :p

D ... just had an internal compiler error ... wtf.

3:15 PM
It's very annoying that it's stuck in a hybrid from java 1.5 to 1.8

Hello

IT BROKE BECAUSE I HAD TOO MANY CASES IN A switch STATEMENT!!!!

@Zacharý What language is that...?

Q: Find the repeating number in O(1) space complexity?

Ritvik KhannaGiven a array of size 2n and in the array there are total of (n+1) unique integers, where n values are once and 1 element is repeated n times. Like the following:- arr[] = {10,20,30,50,40,40,40,40}; here {10,20,30,50} are occurring once each and {40} is repeated n times, where n=4 and arr.size...

3:19 PM
D!! D of all languages!!

@Zacharý uh...calm down, stress does no good

It's just GDC that errors, DMD doesn't.
Well, guess I'm not using case anymore.
@EriktheOutgolfer Yeah, I know, I just was not expecting something that stupid to appear.

so my stupid idea of making a regex clone for choosing what to do with symbols has worked so well that my apl seems to replicate this perfectly

@EriktheOutgolfer Uh... it can do good. It makes the situation realistic and provides negative impact as feedback.

3:36 PM
@dzaima RAD doesn't need to choose what to do (if by that you mean whether they are nilads, functions, monadic operators, or dyadic operators) with user-defined symbols: nilads start with uppercase letters, functions with lowercase letters, monadic operators with , and dyadic operators wiith . Yet I still use regex anyways ...
