BubblerDecomposition of a matrix in \$ SL_2(\mathbb{Z}) \$ code-golf math matrix liner-algebra Background The special linear group \$ SL_2(\mathbb{Z}) \$ is a multiplicative group of \$ 2 \times 2 \$ matrices whose elements are integers and determinant is 1. It is known that every member of \$ SL_2(\...

Q: Recreate a simplified version of the card game L.L.A.M.A

RollingCompassIn LLAMA, you want to dump cards from your hand as quickly as you can, but you might not be able to play what you want. Each player starts a round with six cards in hand; the deck consists of llama cards and cards numbered 1-6, with eight copies of each. On a turn, the active player can play a c...

@flawr Heh, in APL, you can write int total = list.Sum(item => item.Amount); as total←+/list.Amount Try it online!
afaict, that is almost as short as it can theoretically get, since, besides for the identifiers, we use only one character to say that we want an assignment () and one to select what (Amount) from (.) what (list). The only thing that could be shortened is the sum which uses two characters (+/) when it theoretically could use one.

@ngn I have abandoned the exact answer which I thought was correct and will need to start again from square one. Thank you.

No wonder APL is so golfy:P

Ha ha, this semi-niche object type doesn't populate the ID field on this table like everything else, which means either a much larger pain in the ass or I just ignore it.

stupid JavaScript allows me to set an "unlock" event handler when I wanted an "onlick" event handler.

On lick? Tasty and/or lewd

Both? Both, both is good.

ugh, my brain really doesn't like "onclick", it's typed "onlick" twice today now (well, not counting that time)
