@Mego I thought we wanted attention towards flags, and if I join the transcript the flag disappears, if I judge the flag, then I can only see the single message in the transcript by somehow keeping the 0-flag dialog opening and viewing the history. Joining's just easier

Personally, if I wait even the length of time it takes to open either the transcript or the room to get context, the flag has already been handled (95% of the time) and the whole thing was just wasted effort.

Yeah, but all it takes is for a couple people (I forget the exact number) to click "valid" or "invalid" without opening the link at all. They have the jump on anyone who cares enough to actually look into it.

By objecting, you started this whole discussion. Yes, none of it would have occurred if we hadn't joined, but it's still not fair to object to us joining, even if we are here to check out the flag. I was planning on staying a while, maybe joining in chat. Instead, I feel unwelcome and am rather unlikely to return
