I'm uncomfortable with (2) as well. While discussing the closure reasons, we seem to have invented a new off-topic rule. @200_success Are you suggesting that questions seeking an explanation of code or the results of code should be on-topic?
@h.j.k. If only... is usually "here's two pieces of code that do the same, review them both." I'm not sure you're going to win any arguments here based on how it effects questions when several people here consider questions to be a terrible fit for the site already anyway and would be all for a new closure reason that helped closing these questions...
No, I'm suggesting that if we want them to be off-topic, we should declare it up front in the help center.
