@HoàngLong The community blog, in a nutshell, involves anything that would be on-topic on this site, even if it would be not constructive. We also do things that are a bit more Stack Overflow oriented since they don't have their own blog.

depends on what you intend to do and how much you know already. ;)

if you are entirely new to svn, I'd suggest to skip branching at first. It's a bit weird to use in svn. You do do fine without branching at first.

branching essentially allows you to work on different versions of the same software at the same time.
