@Muro the old grouchy guy inside of me really hopes Glass goes nowhere.
It is like they are inventing things without thinking about the evil people will do. Our collective, generic sense of privacy is more important than however cool those class devices are. Glass, Drones, Car Insurance tracking devices, Cell Phone always on location reporting. I won't say those things are inherently evil, but society needs to think about it.
Lets start off hyper restrictive on what they can do, and what anybody is allowed to do with the tracking data. Define very strictly who owns what content. It is easier to loosen restrictions later than getting the genie back in the bottle.

@MrChrister I agree with you wholeheartedly on the need for privacy. I think there are significant opportunities for new google and facebook like companies to appear that have more respect for their user's privacy.

I guess the rule needs to be "Privacy and disclosure by default". Maybe just that simple phrase, enforced by lawsuits, is what we need. I hate to advocate a more litigious society, but let the court of public opinion be literal.
