@MrChrister of posts to review?
02:05
Yeah. I see 8 posts at the moment. Does everybody see 8? Are they the same 8?

@MrChrister I just voted to close a question and left a comment suggesting that the question asker, a new user, peruse an almost identical question on Quant SE quant.stackexchange.com/questions/115/…
@MrChrister or @Manishearth Sorry, here is the associated Money SE question to which my prior comment referred money.stackexchange.com/questions/18724/…
One more item: I created a Credit-Ratings-Agency tag, as there was Credit-Rating and Credit, both of which pertained ONLY to an individual's credit score. There were many questions on the site (5 that I've found so far) that explicitly asked about Credit Ratings Agencies e.g. S&P, Moody's et. al. I will draft an associated Tag Wiki for Credit Ratings Agency later today.

@FeralOink Wonderful. That looks like a pretty smart idea. I am going to close it since you already directed the poster to the better site. I don't think the question is well formed enough to migrate.

@FeralOink Who? Me? Did you mean to ping someone else?
Oh. You pinged me 'cos I'm a mod :P
Cross posts aren't always bad, btw
Sometimes it helps to have a different audience to look at it
Also, if something is in a site overlap region, it's not necessary that it needs to be migrated off to the "better" site. You can wait a bit first.
Though, in this case, the questions had other issues (reference request/too skimpy/etc)

@Manishearth I pinged you because I saw your little mu icon in the display for who was in the room. It only showed you and me and maybe MrChrister, though I'm not sure. Anyway, sorry to bother you, and thank you for the input.
@FeralOink Np, happy to help :)
@MrChrister Thank you! ;o) No, the question wasn't particularly well-formed. It was vague, to say the least, for probability distributions etc.!
@Manishearth Is that a mu with a holiday cap? Your avatar?
It is festive!
@FeralOink yep :P
@Manishearth Okay, I see, it is! Lower case mu, for one millionth!
@FeralOink Nah. Mu for mu. As in "M". As in "Manish" :P
17:50
@Manishearth Ohh! Okay. That makes more sense. Why does bit torrent related things always show the mu symbol, do you know? Idle curiosity.
A mu and a bit? I don't see the correspondance.
correspondence (spelling!)
@Manishearth I'm sorry, I should go, this is off topic, and I need to be more productive today. Thanks! Later!
@FeralOink There's a very lightweight torrent client called µTorrent. Mu for micro for tiny for lightweight.
@FeralOink A bit of OT discussion is fine in chat, though the final call is with room owners/site mods. :) Cya!
18:38
@FeralOink Yeah, chat is the right place for OT discussion. This is a place for site members to congregate and chat ...
