@C.Ross @C.Ross I'm not sure why I was pinged, but I would have voted to close that question because it's far too broad, and it sounds like a request for "easy money," which doesn't really have a viable answer. A good answer (if it was on-topic, and I don't think it was) would probably have referenced fundamental analysis and the sheer difficulty and risk associated with building enough capital to earn 70-100K.

@MrChrister You're right -- almost 4 years! I launched this site as http://BasicallyMoney.com on October 5, 2009, under the StackExchange 1.0 hosting model. I lobbied hard to get the Personal Finance & Money proposal launched in order to bring Basically Money into the Stack Exchange 2.0 network. We were the first independent Stack Exchange 1.0 site to migrate successfully into the Stack Exchange 2.0 network. (FWIW, the original domain name still redirects to money.stackexchange.com.)
See the following question at meta (which was migrated from the main site ... SE 1.0 sites didn't have "meta" sites.)

When was Basically Money born, who created it, and what is the purpose of the site?
What makes Basically Money different from other money sites or discussion forums?
That was originally Question #1 on the main site. For those who have privs to view deleted questions, it's at: basicallymoney.com/questions/1
Of course, with your user id #91, you were around for most of that :) If you don't mind me asking, how did you learn about Basically Money in the first place?
BTW, I just noticed that MathOverflow.net has finally migrated to Stack Exchange 2.0, five weeks ago. They were running as a Stack Exchange 1.0 site for almost four years. Looks like they bypassed Area 51 and the 2.0 beta phase.
