@Zizouz212 Indeed, but this room has been quite active on the flag front just recently. Mostly from one particular user, on messages that did not need flagging.
@PaulWhite I'm not aware of any of that... I know there was an issue in the ELL Cabin a few days ago... maybe a week by now... but I'm not aware of other flags... I just woke up... after too few hours, to a collection of comments including the one that I flagged.

The problem is that some members on here actually take care over their posts so that they provide clear accurate and even, wait for it, researched and referenced answers. OMG!
@Zizouz212 But you're talking about it as if I was abusing flags... And I don't mean you, specifically... I mean, the influx of mods here seems to be implying that.
@ArtOfCode This one is a general ELL room. Anything can be discussed. The other one is a more general Language room... we often discuss languages other than English... and, since it's not "ELL's official room, it's inappropriate to discuss some topics there... particularly Meta type discussions.
Also, @DamkerngT If someone wants to create a meta post about it, that's fine. Considering what just happened, I'm not going to be the one who does it because I don't need to be attacked any more simply for disagreeing with someone's methods for answering questions.

@Catija Although, need it be said, it's better to raise things in Meta in general when they belong on Meta, especially if they're person specific. Keep the chat rooms for people who want to chat constructively about things like English, language, improvements to ELL, etc etc
