I think it's possible, though I wouldn't recommend using it, and I think it's likely that the OP was thinking of it as I revile, "Paranoid moron!"--a single sentence, but their example is actually two.

Yes, it seemed so to me, too, which I think is incorrect.

The only possible way to think of it as correct for me is to think of it as two sentences, and revile was used intransitively, which is very uncommon.

(I also tried looking for "he said, reviling" but to no avail. :-)

As for the construction itself -- [clause, clause], one can claim parataxis or asyndeton and simply use commas instead of periods, but that's probably a bit too much for the OP.

All in all, I think it's always better if our users use only real sentences they found (not made-up ones) as their examples.

Oh did I mention that the heat wave here is let up a bit? Day before yesterday in the evening it rained here in torrent with heavy thunderstorm.
