Thanks @Usern!
Oh, this has become such a happy ending!
It can't be possibly true.
06:55
Another step to Interstellar flights!
Hi , Good morning.
Have a nice day!

What is translation of this sentence?

Grid up my loins with renewed manoevouring for renewed challanges in 2016.
@user124234 Translation? To what language?
07:11
Do you know about Urdu?
I know the name of the language, but that's pretty much all I know about Urdu.
No sorry, I know Turkish, Persian, English and some Arabic.
Sir ,Dam.
If you know Urdu , so just try it.
If you cannot then translate it in English but in the simplest words.
Mar , then translate it in English.
@user124234 OK, lemme.
Yep, waiting for your pretty response.
07:14
Actually, it's kinda messed up.
Messed up ?
If that's the case, it's better to ask for the meaning of the sentence or the phrase, rather than a translation.
It means "I'm preparing my loin (the part of the body between hips and ribs) with new tactics for the new challenges in 2016."
I could give a better explanation if you tell me where you saw it @User1.
Hips and ribs means?
Actually, someone asked me regarding this one, but I don't know what actually it says.
It's a word play.
@user124234 Dictionaries explain the definitions better than us.
07:18
Gird up my loins is a common idiom.
@DamkerngT. Oh yeah . . . why didn't I think of that?
@User1 should it be "grid" or "gird" in your sentence?
I award @Dam the "typo sensei" hat.
Khekhekhe ,thanks.
@DamkerngT.Sir , I learned how to mention someone here.
But it's difficult to mention "Mar".
His name is very very tough.
@user124234 Use a space between the words. So you should say "@DamkerngT. sir" not "@DamkerngT.Sir".
@user124234 Type "@" and press "Tab".

Hello again! I see everyone here has been knighted in my absence

@user124234 Again, use a space.
@snailboat Hullo!

@DamkerngT. ?
I thought it was a good rhyme. :D
@DamkerngT. The last revision was a scary emoticon.
Mar , sir.
I am making mistake to mention someone so I shan't mention now.
Anonymous
Did I miss the rhyme?
07:32
@user124234 Why not? Everyone makes mistakes.
We were knighted during the night.
@snailboat It seems to be a Thai Haiku.
But you have very difficult names.
You don't need to type it.
@Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ. okay.
07:33
Just type the first part of the name and press "tab" when it's the only name you see on top of the text area in chat.
Anonymous
A Thaiku?
@user124234 Yay!
@snailboat They call it something else.
พเสเ่ด่ิพา or something.
Anonymous
User number number number number number number, I'm sorry if my name is difficult! I promise I won't be offended if you misspell it :-)

@Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ. Some gobbledegook.
Khekhekhe

Throw in a topic so we could absorb some knowledge from @Snail's chat messages like a sponge.
Sir ,everything is lovely in the garden.
What about you?
Soni has a vast cognizance.
Where's Sir Subjunctive mood?
Whagnizance?
@user124234 He's busy studying subjunctive in Spanish/
07:43
Yeah, means knowledge.
Yeah, I have seen many teachers on this site.

Your name is like a problem of Maths sum.
It's tough.
You have also pretty name.
Oh. What does @Dam's name sound like?
@Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ. It sounds quite soft.
He posted a youtube link once with a recording.

Hi , sir.
Chemistry , I mean ,sir copper.
Welcome to the chat room.
Hi, @user124234!
But you didn't welcome me ,sir.

@Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ. is a specialist in this area.
:O SPECIALIST!
@user124234 What do you mean? Are you talking about Winter Bash?
Anonymous
They would like to upload an avatar.
@snailboat OK then.
Yeah, I like to fix a picture on my profile.
I also want to keep a very good name on my account.
08:01
User124234 is a much-honored name. It derives from Latin (user) and from India (Indo-Arabic numbers) A name with ancient roots!
Sir , Maqsood is my name.
My caste is Magsi.
So , I want to keep this one "Magsi".
@user124234 Click on your current picture. Then find "Edit Profile & Settings", click on it. Then click "Change Picture".
Tell me when you got that far.
Sir , Chemistry.
You have a good name too.
You can call "Magsi"instead of user.
08:03
@CopperKettle Chemistry? They should be calling me that.
Agreed!
Anonymous
I will try to call you whatever you change your username to.
Soni , call me Magsi.

in Language Overflow, Nov 23 at 18:33, by Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ.
Night Cu Kettle.
@snailboat I'm inclined to close this as a duplicate.
08:05
Mar , I will change my name very soon.
Anonymous
"Night see you" is a weird thing to say.
Oh ,yeah .
Anonymous
Make sure you spell your name right. There's a limit to how often you can change a user name.
@snailboat But there's a grace period of 15 minutes.
@snailboat Two sentences without punctuation.
Lack of clarity contributes to punniness.
Okay, Soni.
Thanks for suggestion.
08:51
Hallo , Mar ,and other teachers.

I don't have much time to make it perfect.
I don't have much time to time it perfectly.

Which one is correct, and why?
Time to make*
@user124234 You can edit chat messages. Hover over the message with the mouse, click the down arrow and click "edit".
@user124234 The first one seems to be more acceptable, but that depends on what you're trying to say.
Okay, sir ,wait.
Discuss it later, see you after prayer,
09:17
Hallo, sir.
I think "perfect"is adjective, and "perfectly"is adverb.
@user124234 Yes.
Adjectives modify nouns usually, an adverbs verbs.
But in linking verbs, you get the adjective.
(* denotes that something is ungrammatical)
> 1. This seems good.
> 2. This seems *well.
How can I explain these sentences in a grammatical way?
If someone asks me which one is correct, and why?
What will I reply to them?
Tell them "make" is a linking verb here, hence unlike the other cases where an adverb modifies verbs, an adjective should modify it. So "perfect" is correct and "perfectly" is not.
IMHO, meanings always trump grammar.
In other words, it's more important to understand what a sentence exactly means than to know its grammar.
It's usually easier to go from meaning to grammar than the other way around.
09:34
@DamkerngT. I decided "make" doesn't mean "make", but means "make".
Hah! What does that mean?! :D
I think Dam sir, will clear it.
Khekhe
A short-term goal: having user12423 quit using the honorable sir with our names in a month
:D

Hi, is it correct to say "I am proud of my self"?
@snailboat Should that be a non-site affiliated room?
Anonymous
@jimsug Yeah, that was brought up shortly after it was created, but it would take an ELL mod to move it.
@snailboat Kind of makes sense. Otherwise we could annex any chat room we want and use it for our own nefarious purposes.

Myself is one word.

@snailboat Thanks. So, it is normal if someone say that?
