@Sue Unfortunately I'll have to agree with @CharlieBrumbaugh on this topic. I do not think what he said was childish. We have been having frustrating interactions for a long time now with the aforementioned user. Having a huge number of comments getting flagged is not by chance.

@CharlieBrumbaugh That's fair, it is a self answer, mainly because I'd spent about an hour trying to figure it out and since you know we're never getting out of beta but an extra question is an extra question I thought I'd stick it up

@Aravona Self answers are absolutely fine.
It's still valuable to others

@RoryAlsop Very true - how are you btw, good weekend? :)

@Aravona very good thank you - gutted we didn't see any Orionids here. It clouded over around 1am just as it was starting to get better conditions to see them with the moon set. But it was a nice weekend - had a friend and her 3 kids to visit. Haven't seen them for about 7 years, so much wine and chat while the kids played board games
It was a rare relaxing weekend
How about you

@RoryAlsop sounds wonderful!
We went diving :) then joined a gym and went swimming yesterday - otherwise chilling a bit.

@RoryAlsop, thanks so much for your fast help with my request from yesterday! Would you kindly do the same with the new one? This one is a response to me but it still calls attention to something I said. I probably shouldn't have said it, but at least without a star it would get lost as the transcript got longer and noone would go looking for it. I promise to be more careful with my messages!
@RoryAlsop I'll also ask people not to add stars to my messages if there's anything about them that seem derogatory to or about a user, are argumentative in nature.

@Aravona, @ab2, @Ricketyship, @RoryAlsop, @WedaPashi, @Willeke, @imsodin, @CharlieBrumbaugh, @StrongBad, @Kevin, @paparazzo. Hi to all the people I can "ping" and those I can't!! May I politely ask all of you and anyone else who sees this not to add a star to a message which has my name, in a context about, or with any user that could possibly be construed as rude, either to the core group or future visitors. Starred messages are forever. If I say something...
in the heat of a moment that isn't necessarily nice, I don't want it to be in the list.
It's a good lesson for me to be more careful of what I say!
I have no problem with someone responding to an opinion of mine, but if you do it without my name attached, that would be greatly helpful!
If you want me to know you reacted to something I said, if you could just put the @ me part on a different line!
I'm not speaking to any or all of you. I have no idea who stars what! I like starring messages, especially when they're fun or congratulations to milestones or things like that.
@RoryAlsop, I didn't even know there were Orionids yesterday. I was just studying them-very interesting. I've seen an eclipse before, but not these. @gerrit, do you see Northern Lights? My geography could be hugely wrong, but for some reason I thought they're easily visible from Iceland!!
@ab2, @Aravona, @RoryAlsop and any other animal lovers, did you know that bees stop all movement, even humming, during a solar eclipse? It's fascinating. One theory is that they think night fell, but there are other theories out there.

@Sue No, I didn't know that. At what point in the eclipse do they stop moving? As it starts or close to totality? Probably shortly after it starts.

Sue
@ab2 I just started reading about it, but it's really cool! I have to go and find some dinner, but I'll do some more research. By the way, I just found an answer of yours I had never accepted way back in June I asked about whether or not birds hibernate. This is your answer, outdoors.stackexchange.com/a/19753/5547. It's awesome and was really helpful. I have no idea why I let it slip my mind, so here's your way-overdue acceptance!!
