Merry Christmas to you @Liam
Morning all! 4 days and counting
09:15
Merry Christmas
@WedaPashi I've answered your question :) Hope it's what you are looking for
Merry christmas
You guys are saying Merry Christmas like you won't log on on Christmas morning and say it... You know you will

:D
Definitely
room topic changed to The Base Camp: Do bears celebrate Christmas? [buildering] [coconut] [cup-and-hold] [do-u-use-knee-caps]
09:32
@Liam according to John Lewis only if you buy them alarm clocks
@Aravona I figured we needed to continue the bear theme but make it xmassy
@OddDev I did a minor edit of your question. I think it is a good one now, for my taste it was simply too cluttered with bits of informations around the question before. And it attracted already one good anwer.
10:01
@Aravona: LOL
@imsodin Is a good edit :) Thanks! I just was a little bit upset yesterday cause I think we've started nitpicking on that question.
However, I feel like that it's fine now, isn't it?
@OddDev: Thanks mate, will look at it in a minute.
Hello @M'vy :)
10:14
@Aravona @Liam: The question that where I thought I could use your help.
@OddDev Don't take it personally. It's mostly people just trying to help

Q: As Mountaineers what can we give back to Mountains?

WedaPashiMight not be a real question for The Great Outdoors.SE, but definitely a real question in out lives, at least mine. I understand, agree and believe in Leave No Trace philosophy. But, when we take countless memories and pride in climbing mountains, what can we give back? Example, Tree plantatio...

Nor sure if on-topic, or ..
@WedaPashi Bit opinion based. Likely a good "fun" question but don't be too surprised if it get's closed!
@liam: That sounds fair.
I addressed the possibility of being closed off with the first line.
@Liam: Liverpool lost to Watford this weekend :( (You must be happy)
10:46
@WedaPashi yeah, mega lols
11:36
Today's basically half over so.... Only 2.5 days left until I'm off for ages.
Ok I just got the flip flop hat but haven't been voted up or down. Have voted myself. Pdd hat
I got it in blue-black
12:04
you get it for any vote
the question is - what makes it blue or white
mine is blue too
Mine is white
@RoryAlsop hmm how odd. I've only voted positively.
Maybe it's question or answer dependant?
Aha
I did a single question upvote on SO and got blue black...
So let's see what I get on Pets!
Blue black, probably because I've already got blue black. Forgot that lol

1 hour later…
13:24
The House eats up the train :(
13:35
@WedaPashi - it goes behind the house :-)
@Rory: Afternoon :)
Thats one positive way of looking at it. Though it disappears once it goes behind it :D
I too have a Flip Flop on the Great Outdoors @Aravona @Rory
But its a different colour
@DavidRicherby if you want to discuss the UK laws on protection more I'm happy to do so here in chat. Not worth spamming that answer.
@WedaPashi - it can't come out the other side, as it goes into the tunnel in that mountain
oh, if anyone fancies voting this question up, it may give me another hat... not sure:

Q: Winterbash page size doesn't match up with image locations

Rory AlsopThe Winterbash page using Chrome on iPad with iOS 9.2 does something weird with positioning images. That last house on the right: This happens in portrait and landscape. Post fix being pushed - here is the new layout:

13:58
@RoryAlsop is that on Meta?
@RoryAlsop I'll upvote on Wednesday
:-) thanks
Or if @WedaPashi has an account on meta.se...?
14:14
@RoryAlsop I like trains
14:28
@Rory: Done. Upvoted.
@Rory: Done. Upvoted.
@WedaPashi - thank you kindly. Now to see if that gives me a new hat at some point today :-)
:) Its Christmas!
Yay - I got Amazing Grace hat - thank you

14:44
@RoryAlsop awesome!
Today is so slow
:) Hats are good!
15:47
@RoryAlsop LOL. I am too busy to compete with that :(
16:14
@OddDev I feel like your latest question is off topic... You basically want to know how solid or decent an item you can print on... You'd be better off on a tech forum. But don't put foil in your printer...
@OddDev my experience being my dad, who worked for Sharpe, Xerox... And currently Konica Minolta... He's a printer engineer and business consultant
Try looking up different papers, different gsm etc.
Oh I also worked retail IT at Staples Head Office :)

2 hours later…
18:12
@Aravona Ah nice :D How lucky :) Thank you! Yeah meanwhile I feel like it's offtopic, too. Hm, I still let it go. Let's see what happens. What do you think?
18:30
@OddDev I think it'd ptobably end up cheaper to just order some targets lol. Between in and thick paper you'll probably find it cheaper.
Here it is, no joke, often cheaper to buy a brand new printer with ink cartridges as a bundle than just cartridges on their own.
Yeah think so, too^^ However, I can't find just solid faces...
@OddDev ahh I see.
18:48
@OddDev ahh yes, my husband answered you on that :)
@Aravona Yeah ;P
@OddDev to be fair most clubs here tend to go for a regular boss and target.
I'm lucky that we've a huge traditional archery community here in south-west Germany and I've about 5 3D courses nearby :) Just awesome
@OddDev ahh neat :) I've never tried. I like 22. gallery myself.
Sorry, what does that mean?
18:54
@OddDev target shooting in a gallery, so you sit with a rest.
Ah okay cool :) I've never heard of that
It's just a style of target shooting. The rifles are nice, though I need a left hand rifle despite being right handed.
I tend to be able to manage a cluster. My dad shoots, he does fullbore, so shooting at around 1000yards
1000 yards? O.O Holy Molly
My uncle likes clay pigeon. And my sisters fella does pheasant and other game hunting.
Hunter family, eh? :P
Nice
18:57
@OddDev only one of us kills things...
And yeah my dad does 600, 800, and 1000 yards depending.
Sorry, I often refer (more or less jokingly) to sport shooters as hunters
@OddDev I only took up air rifle for a few months, I've only done open days for 22... I'm not gun licenced.
I took it up when I was suffering from a lot of stress, and found it really rather soothing.
It's pretty disciplined and focused so
A great :) Same reasons as archery for me
Thanks @imsodin
Made me laugh
@OddDev yeah...this has reminded me dads got a CO2 powered air pistol... And he said I could have it
@OddDev Jaja, deutsch-sprachige am englisch schreiben halt ;)
19:10
;) Oh ja :D
