@Liam heh - we had options for languages...which all clashed with things, so I got German, Spanish and Latin. No French. I'm terrible at French. "'l'edition sil vous plait" is about my limit

We got our first trackables this weekend at the event.

We are going to be organising an event this December probably.

@Liam it's a code you get with a geocaching travel bug. You can 'discover' them or take them. We discovered two. The idea is that you take the travel bug, and help it get closer to its destination. So some might be from England but want to get to... Australia... And the idea is it gets there via different geocachers moving it to a new geocache :)

I've seen mention of travel bugs (or trackables) on geocaching sites. What is a travel bug and what can I do with one?

Q: Does Venice smell?

I keep getting told that Venice smells pretty bad as a reason not to go (a lot of people say it's pretty crowded too but that's another matter). Apparently it's the canals in summer. Is this true? Does Venice have a problem with it's aroma or is this a bit of an old wives tale?
