Hey all. Not really familiar with chat/meta stuff yet, but trying to take a bit of a more active role in the community! On this note: I've noticed a couple of people discuss garbage valley. Would something like the following method be a benefit to addressing it? 1) pull up all unanswered questions, starting from the last page; 2) start casting close votes on anything that seems questionable (the "bads" and the "not sures"). Hoping to find ways to help out more (love tips)!
For an example search, starting with something like this: "views:0-200 answers:0 closed:no duplicate:no created:2010..2014 score:-5..2". Old questions, low views, low scores, no answers.
@mfloren Yes. Ideally (given the not too many active users here), you announce this so other people jump on this effort as well (through the review queue). You might otherwise risk the close votes just getting lost over time.
