Ping: Non-blocking is better than blocking.
Hu Duga
Hey.
I pushed a commit earlier, split the usage from the implementation
before you hooked it up to @Duga?
I think it would make sense to have a separate class for your work, keep the merges to a minimum
yes
yup. that's my plan.
I even thought I could do a net.tuis.ubench.scale package to keep things more organized
OK, I have some items in my workspace that I need to tidy, and push. Long, and Double 'scale' functions, as well as some internal refactoring.
that makes a bunch of sense

Note, there is a new level of abstraction, so the actual primitive
processes are simpler.

@SimonAndréForsberg - I wonder whether the right solution would be to output the resutls as an HTML document with the requisite JavaScript needed to load a D3 chart with the results: github.com/mbostock/d3/wiki/Gallery
In other words, instead of doing all the work in Java, we instead just dump the HTML/CSS/JS file and let the browser do the hard work.
UScale.scale(....).report("path/to/MyResults.html");
then, MyResults.html will have:
@rolfl so no actual guess of the scalability in Java, instead letting the users "figuring it out on their own" by having them check their "scalability graph"?
.....
<script src="http://d3js.org/d3.v3.min.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
.....
<script>
var data = { .....};
.... prepare D3 chart.... and tables
</script>
I think the guess would be useful, but it is much harder than representing the actuals.
Never used D3, I've only used flot (which is what SEDE uses). Although D3 looks just as powerful even more powerful at first sight
We could burn ourselves trying to get the actual one....
wheras the chart is 80% solution in 20% time.
I get the point. And the point is a good one.
I have been wanting to reimplement something like this in Java for a while, but it is definitely not as easy as it sounds.
18:31
(it also keeps the actual Java code simpler).
But, it means learning D3/flot.... but...
D3 has been on my hit-list for a while.
D3 definitely looks interesting. Can understand why that is on your hit-list.

@Simon - can you hit git.tuis.net/index.html ?
welcome to Git Index
good... OK, virtual hosting is set uo, http onlu (not https), and I can dump stuff there....
international names are resolving, not just inside my network.
