has anyone noticed lately that many people who ask questions do not bother give example? One has to ask them to provide example each time? I wonder if this is generational thing and some effect due to the internet and chatgpt or something. I find it very strange that someone describe in English words only but not give an example to help explain things. I must be old fashioned because I think an example is worth a thousand words.
@Nasser it's probably a generation-related thing. I am only saying this because I have an increasing struggle to make students write down equations, they seem to be under the delusion that they understand physics so well and can express everything so perfectly that they don't need anything else other than vague, verbal arguments. And I do believe that this is internet related or chatgpt related or inspired by these trends.
