Biggest problem creating such maps in Mathematica is to know usage of GeoGridPosition for importing interesting geographic coordinate formats...

(Above map is definitely a bit hard to read without looking very much into details. Basically half of Finnish population lives on about 0.3% of the land area, and effectively that high-population region has overrepresentation of women. The rest of the populated area is about 32% of the land area, and has overrepresentation of men. So, it's more or less the same as population density map with some scaling function.)

@kirma Yes, I really wish they would have proper support for EPSG codes built-in, it drives me nuts that I have to write a bespoke converter or use ogr2ogr every time I come across something in a new projection

@CarlLange They implied at some point that they have something like that in the works, but when it would become available, that's a completely different question... I have my doubts that it won't be on next release.

@kirma For years now, yes - I remember asking for it on the SW livestreams in like 2019. Maybe I should write a function repository function to call ogr2ogr...
