@kirkus i've used workbench with mathematica few times before, but never tried to use debugger that comes with it. I should try that now and see. I wonder if it still works, I see a video here about it, wolfram.com/broadcast/video.php?c=93&v=890 it looks good if it works. Do others here use the debugegr in workbench?
if it works, I could port my Maple code (ode-step-by-step) to Mathematica, which will probably take me 6 months to do. But I never heard anyone asking questions here about workbench and debugging Mathematica code in it, which makes me suspect that no one uses it?

I give up. After spending nearly 25 minutes trying and trying, I could not figure how to add the Wolfram workbench to Eclipse. Got stuck at the "add software" stage. step 4 on this page. support.wolfram.com/27221 Even though I downloaded Workbench and extracted the zip file OK. Instruction on the web page are not clear and do not match what I have downloaded. someone at WRI should really improve these instructions. Nothing I tried worked. my limit on trying something is 30 minutes :)
This eclipse/workbench/mathematica setup is way too complicated to setup and use. May be that is why no body seems to use it.

That's too bad, the process worked very smoothly on my Mac. I did not download the Workbench ZIP but used the URL for installation instead.

@kirkus Thanks. Using the URL workbench.wolfram.com/update in the location worked! I was trying the downloaded zip file location (after unnzipping, but that did not work (too many jar files and may be I was picking the wrong one). But using the URL it worked. Now I can try the debugging and see how it works.

@Nasser great, please let us know how it goes

Does anyone here use Discord?

I never seen this message before in Mathematica
Luckily it is still running and did not crash. It takes 3 days to finish and I did not want to start all over again. I run this script before many times and this is the first time I see such a message. keeping figures crossed it will finish.
