It’s more approximate now than it was before. Before we had the exact date, now we have a description such as ”more than a week ago”. I suppose it’s a compromise between privacy and utility.

Regarding posts like this and this: I think it's better not to pile on the downvotes. It's sufficient to close them. They are off-topic here, so it's not for us to signal how bad the questions are. Or if we do, a single downvote should be enough.
I do wonder if we could get a close reason which is plainly "this is not about Mathematica". As I said here, it's not good to migrate low quality questions to another site. It's not nice to the moderators of that site. It's very common to get math (not Mathematica) questions here, but the only related close reason is "migrate to Math.SE".
