"very complex variables" ?: Even the real parts are imaginary! (Joking reference to the title of mathematica.stackexchange.com/q/249258)

Every now and then, sometimes as often as every five minutes, Mathematica 12.3 throws up a "Formatting notebook contents" dialog that steal focus from whatever I'm doing (email, web browser, etc.). It's getting really annoying. I got three notebooks open, including the help browser. None with anything very large to display.
The only thing I can think is causing it is something Dynamic on display, like an error message. I have none of my own on display, but the FE generates all sorts of "helpful" Dynamic formatting.

@MichaelE2 I've seen such stuff too. Even more disturbingly, it seems to get stuck on "beachball" on Mac (unresponsive UI that is) quite often. I don't think it happened before the official release.
I've also seen some UI/rendering consistency regressions but they're awfully hard to reproduce, thus going unreported...

Hello, I have purchased Mathematica, and it appears I have access to two versions, Mathematica Home Edition » and Mathematica Personal Use ». Which one should I download and why?
20:58
@user10478 the first license never expires and the second caN Be used for the year’s subscription on a laptop
Ahhh, so I should get the Home Edition first and then the Personal Use later if I want to use it on a second machine?
I think... if you need more installations then you get to pay for each!
okie, thanks
Of course they require a subscription to continue updates etc
@kirma has anyone else had cells randomly changing their style of their own accord?
like from the first to the second ^^
